In a Nutshell
I have been an educator for 42 years and a writer almost that long. In that time, I’ve covered a lot of ground – being a classroom teacher and District Academic Coach serving Title I schools in Cobb County, GA, taught a variety of professional development classes, had fun presenting at numerous conferences, developed curriculum, served as a Teacher Consultant for the National Writing Project, and trained teachers across the country as a curriculum consultant for Sundance-Newbridge, an educational publishing company. My two grandchildren keep me hopping, as they love spending time outdoors. I keep myself hopping by spending time at the gym, reading, writing, and traveling. When I sit still, I enjoy time at home in Marietta, GA
